Secretaries was founded in 1967 by Stella
Boyd-Carpenter, who still heads the team.
The company was established to provide a
professional service to recruit well-qualified
PAs at director level and to meet the specific
needs of individual clients and candidates.
Our philosophy is to provide a personal
service and to maintain the highest standards.
This has resulted in excellent relationships
with our clients, many of whom have remained
with us since the company’s inception.

are also important to us, many have enjoyed
working alongside some of the country’s
leading industrialists, bankers and entrepreneurs
and some have gone on to hold successful
management appointments.
Over the years there have been many newcomers
into the secretarial consultancy field but
Directors’ Secretaries has maintained
its niche at the top end of the market.
